In front of the new 1899 Hoffenheim stadium a 280 cm wide Floating Disc was installed. Carrying a 5 m tall steel sculpture it floats weightlessly on a 380 cm wide base stone. Both disc and base stone are monolithic pieces. The precision Kusser Aicha processes and controls the stone with and very little water pressure are everything that is necessary to lift disc and sculpture, which weigh 11.5 tons, and set them into a smooth rotation.
